Creative Director
By developing the thematic story and identifying the reinforcing elements, the creative director can then map out the journey from inspiration to installation for any project. Scott's approach is to work with both internal and external teams to establish, maintain and execute the creative vision. This inclusive approach means that he acts as a lens to focus everyone's efforts. When situations change, it is Scott's job to find alternatives that still meet the creative "north star". Communication is essential to successful creative development. Scott is able to keep key stakeholders informed while translating the vision to the designers and craftspeople. Whether it is a large scale event like "Howl-O-Scream" at Busch Gardens, an exclusive guest experience like "The Vault of Souls" or a corporate fund raiser like The Lion's Eye Institute's "Eye Ball" Scott's approach and experience leads to success.
Writer
In addition to his 6 books and multiple articles for publications around the world, the majority of Scott's writing is for live shows and presentations. From engaging edutainment content (Space Center Houston, The Florida Aquarium) to zany comedy shows ("Lucilla Lumpkins Smashes Pumpkins", ZooTampa) to sinister immersive experiences ("DARK" at Fort Edmonton Park) his scripts embrace the client's needs and capture the audience's attention.
Director
With his training and background in theatre, Scott is a skilled theatrical director. He has a keen eye for casting and can develop cohesive and engaging performances. He has directed everything from full stage productions to strolling atmospheric performers. As a Past President of "Theatre Tampa Bay", Scott worked closely with the local live performance community to ensure the highest quality live theatre.
Corporate Trainer
For years Scott has taught classes and seminars on topics from Interpersonal Communication to Career Interview Skills. By combining his Entertainment training with his corporate experience, Scott shares practical ways for business professionals to present themselves in their best light. These kinds of classes have been part of the career ladders at both Busch Gardens and The Florida Aquarium. His workshops were also a required component of the "Bulls Business Community" and "Zimmerman Advertising Program" at the University of South Florida's MUMA School of Business.
Performer
Although most of his time now is spent "off-stage", Scott still finds time every now and then to perform in live theatre shows and several television commercials. Scott is also an accomplished voiceover actor.

Scott's painting hobby is slowly creeping into his professional world. He has always enjoyed painting in acrylic, watercolor and oil. Recently, his paintings of dark beauty have found their way into several gallery shows and even into private collections.
